Ballerina Tilda...

Good evening, to all you lovely crafters, hope you are all having a fab week ,it's nearly the 
weekend, whoop whoop!! cant wait... as im so ready for a day off after doing 16 days on the
trot at work, really want some time with my family and to create some cards......

                   Today I've got a card to share, and I'm so happy as I've been looking for this 
magnolia stamp for about 12 months now as it is an old one, it is sold out everywhere but 
finally managed to get it from eBay, I think she is so cute ...
                               
                                 

                                   I have coloured tilda up using my copic markers......
                                                      Here are the colours i used...
                                                 Skin ... E000, E00, E11, E20, E22
                                                Hair ... E41, E43, E 44
                                                Dress ... RV91, RV93, RV95
                                                Top and tights ... C1, C3, blender

               The papers are from Maja Design vintage frost basic, these papers are really great
                              as they are so versatile, not just for winter or christmas cards
               I used spellbinders grand circle dies for my card base, the swirls and removable 
             tags are magnolia doohickey dies, and the cute little bow shown in the pic above is
                                       a sue wilson's itty bitty bow die... Cute!!!!
                                         

All my flowers are from Wild orchid crafts, aren't they scrummy, 

i have added gesso to them to make them look more shabby ....

Butterfly card !!

Good evening, all, boy what a day, I've just got back from the hospital cause around 12 o clock 
today i got a call from school asking i could please go down as soon as poss because my 
youngest daughter had banged her head on a metal pole in the playground, but not for me to 
worry as she isn't in any distress but that she doesn't seem her normal self  and to see what i 
thought, however when i get there they said i had to take her straight to A&E as she had been 
quite spaced out and confused. They said that since she had done it 15 mins ago she kept getting
up and wandering around aimlessly , they asked her what her name was as to which she couldn't answer and when they asked her if she knew where she was, she just kept saying night night ... 
to say i was worried was an understatement ... but to cut a long story short after spending 5 hours 
in A&E, and the doctors saying she had mild concussion that we could go but i've  got to keep my
eye on her for  next 24 hours, but she seems o.k now, back to her normal self, thank goodness ...

                  Anyway enough of my rambling, i would to share a card with you, its
                           a bit different from my normal style but i quite like it ......

                                  The papers i used are from my minds eye Tangerine pad.....

         Here is a side view so you can see how dimensional these shadow box cards are
                           i just love making them .... the butterfly is a marianne design die, 
                                               and the corner die is from joy crafts ...
                      
                                    The flowers and the gorgeous pearl bling piece in the middle
                                                of the bow are from Wild orchid crafts ......
                            
                                      Well thats all from me today, sorry for the lack of pics
                             but the lighting was really bad today as it was dull outside ....

Shabby chic ....

Good morning all, hope you all had a fab weekend, trouble is they aren't long enough... i had a lazy day yesterday, in fact too lazy as i just stayed in my pj's and watched films all day with my 3 girls, but it was a nice change .....

                               I popped by to share a card that i have made....., i haven't made 

                          a card in a shabby chic style for a while as im not really that good at it,

                                     but i actually lurve the way this turned out .............

            I have no idea what paper i used as it was from my scrap box, but i wish i knew as i
                    would be  defo getting some more as they are gorgeous,i think the topper
                                       in the middle is also from the same paper line....

I added gesso to the papers to give them a more shabby look

The flowers, seam binding and rose cavachon are from The Ribbon girl 

and Wild Orchid crafts, 

and the charms are from my stash which i also added gesso to

Another Shadow Box Card!!

Good afternoon to all you lovely crafters, hope you are all having a fab weekend, this is
                           going to be a quick post as i'm just on my way out to work,                                                                                                 but first wanted to share a card ....

For this card i used the My Minds eye Lost and found, Ruby paper pad

A close up of the lovely flowers from WOC, and 

Live and Love Crafts, so scrummy ......

I used the a Magnolia Doohickey die for the swirls 

and the heart was a die from Tonic ...., the sentiment 

is from Lili of the Valley ....

Surprise ... no flowers!!

Good morning all!!  

          Well...... On my post a couple of days ago I set my self a challenge to make a shadow box card with no flowers on it as nearly all of my cards contain flowers and lots of embellishments, and this is what I came up with, and I am actually quite pleased with it, I made this card for a regular customer of mine, she asked for 4 shadow box cards, but all different with no stamped images, so over the next few days i will share what i create ...

                           I have used tilda papers from The country Escape 12 x 12 pad.                                                             The pad comes with a few sheets of die cut embellishments which
                                i have added around the frame... the sentiment is from 
                                                          Lily of the valley

Here is a close up of the flowers which I have covered with glossy accents, I love the 3d effect this product gives

Tilda with chanel the puppy .. Book card!!

Good afternoon to all you lovely crafters, cant believe it's snowing, im not a massive fan of snow to be honest, my girls would cringe if they heard me saying that lol..... its nice when you can sit indoors and watch it but when you have to go out and drive in it, which i have to do as i'll be starting work soon, then it's not nice.
             
                        But first i would like to share a book card that i recently made, using Tilda                                             with chanel the puppy, i haven't made one of these for a few month
                                                             so really enjoyed it ....

                                I coloured her up using copics, here are the colours i used......
                                               Skin... E000, E00, E11, E20, E22
                                               Hair... E57, E53, E51
                                               Dress... R85, R83, R81
                                               Puppy ... E44, E42, E41, E40

The scrummy lace and flowers are from The ribbon girl and the beaded sprays are from Live and Love crafts....

I added gesso to the flowers to give a more shabby look to them....

                        Here is a close up of that adorable image, it so reminds me of my youngest                                          daughter, the bow you can see in the top right hand corner is a sue wilson die.

Tilda with spring heart....

Good morning to all you lovely crafters.... gosh it's so good to be back, this is my first post of 2015 as i haven't been able to post any cards on here or look round your lovely blogs as through changing broadband providers we havent had internet for nearly two weeks, i've been having withdrawal syptoms lol ...

     Here's my card and yes ..... its another shadow box card .... i really enjoy making these

                            I have used tilda with spring heart, she is so cute ...

I have coloured her in copics ....... the colours i used are,

skin .. E000, E00, E11, E20, E22

hair... E44, E43, E41, E40

dress and shoes ... RV13, RV10, RV00

heart and socks .... R59, R27, R22

                              Here is a close up of the heart which i added glossy accents to..

                                          I cut out the letters love from a sheet of pion paper,

                                          sorry cant remember, which collection it was from

                      I find it so hard to make a card now without adding flowers and lots 
                                   of embellishments, but going to set myself a a challenge 
                                         over the next few days to make a shadow box card                                                                        less fussy and NO flowers, lol .... we'll have to see how that goes..
