Shabby chic ....

Good morning all, hope you all had a fab weekend, trouble is they aren't long enough... i had a lazy day yesterday, in fact too lazy as i just stayed in my pj's and watched films all day with my 3 girls, but it was a nice change .....

I popped by to share a card that i have made....., i haven't made
a card in a shabby chic style for a while as im not really that good at it,
but i actually lurve the way this turned out .............

I have no idea what paper i used as it was from my scrap box, but i wish i knew as i
would be  defo getting some more as they are gorgeous,i think the topper
in the middle is also from the same paper line....

I added gesso to the papers to give them a more shabby look

The flowers, seam binding and rose cavachon are from The Ribbon girl
and Wild Orchid crafts,
and the charms are from my stash which i also added gesso to

Well that's all from me today but will be back tomorrow with another card to share....

Thanks for stoppng by
it means a lot xxxx

I am entering this card in to the following challenges......
SCRIBBLE AND SCRAP .... Anything goes
STAMPING SENSATIONS .... Anything goes

  1. Wow! Absolutely beautiful, Kerry! Such a lot of work gone into it, and all the elements complement each other so well. The colours are gorgeous too. Thank you for sharing it with us at Stamping Sensations.

  2. Hi Kerry I have to say for someone who says they dont do shabby chic well.........let me tell you from a MAHOOSIVE shabby chic fan, you should make MORE shabby chic cards. This is STUNNING!!!!

Also the papers if they match the centre image are Reprint Papers. Sandra at Live & Love Crafts stocks Reprint, in fact they have just released some pretty new ones & she has just stocked them on her store today.

    Lotsa hugs Vicky xxx
